QUICK UPDATE

UPDATE: This day is getting stranger by the minute. Now someone very special to me is picking fight with me, saying I need to stop whingeing and that “everybody understands” me, and i just need to stop overthinking things. I suppose that means it’s perfectly normal to forget about a loved one in hospital for more than a week…

How odd. O well, I still need to do a lot of things today so perhaps it’s good to let go of anything nice or comforting to look forward to at an rate. Beggars can’t be choosers!

Hanging on for dear life, no sleep at all with anxiety rising and rising. Not at all sure what the point of my tenacity is at this stage with some very close friends and even family members appearing to want to cancel their subscription to Richo’s Adventures in Survival Land. Believe me, I’d happily jettison any pretence of wanting to keep filling these desperate pages with more tales of never-ending sadness and woe. Just now hobbled towards the beach and despite the early hour, the legions of dog walkers had their frowns at the ready. It’s as though they feel it’s poor taste to ruin their golden sunshine start to the day in this little slice of coastal Paradise. In the end, I didn’t go for a swim, already sick to death of this uncanny solitary path. So tired anyway and must now just sort out a few mega-urgent issues. Many hands make for a job done quickly, I’ve heard it say. However, just need to focus my last firing neurons on assuaging my landlord that magically, I will be able to provide him with this week’s rent. If my typing capability allows, I need to set up an in-person visit to my solicitors, get in touch with a raft of creditors to ensure them my financial woes are on the cusp of (hopefully) being addressed with the help of the new NDIS manager. FYI, if you have trouble reaching me by phone that could well be because I can’t deal with any more bickering and pointless posturing as the stress levels have already seen me take a tumble twice this morning. It could also be because Optus has now restricted my account due to a hefty outstanding bill. Enjoy the fine weather.
