After a couple of weeks traipsing around large cities with little in the way of being able to access nature, I find I’m really missing my favourite Sydney harbour beach – the singular splendour that is Cobbler’s, the clothing optional beach in Mosman.
I’m really starting to miss the crystal clear water and the incredibly joyous and liberating sensation of feeling Creation all around. Mind you, if you’d told me a couple of years ago I’d be frequenting a nudist beach, I’d have laughed loudly.
And I suppose my first impression of the place was truly magical. I was all alone, as God made me, and wandered around the pristine little cove as a modern day Robinson Crusoe, the starkers version.
What’s more, swimming in those pure waters in my birthday suit is the only time when I can almost, almost forget my Parkinson’s riddled body.
